Qatargas delivered its first LNG cargo at the Fujian terminal in the People's Republic of China to the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
The latest cargo to Fujian terminal follows a number of Q-Flex cargos at Guangdong Dapeng terminal, was delivered on conventional size vessel with a capacity of 140,000 cubic meters.
Mr. Ahmed AlKhulaifi, Chief Operating Officer - Commercial & Shipping, Qatargas, said: "China represents a major market for Qatari LNG and we are proud to be able to deliver this cargo safely and on time. Qatargas is very pleased to be playing an increasing role in providing stable energy supplies to China."

The State of Qatar is now the world's largest LNG producer and anticipates that China will become one of the world's largest gas markets.
